Beliefs
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. GOD We believe in the true God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Nature of man
We believe man was created good and upright; by voluntary transgression he fell; and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.
Salvation
We believe that repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ produces the work of justification in the believer.
Water baptism
We believe water baptism is commanded of every believer, and is a necessary requisite for going on to spiritual maturity.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe baptism in the Holy Spirit is a necessary and vital experience available to every believer.
Wholeness
We believe the term salvation is an inclusive term that gathers into itself all the redemptive acts and includes three tenses: the believer has been saved by justification; the believer is being saved through sanctification; and the believer will be saved through glorification.
The Church
We believe we are one body of Christ, local and universal, and are members one of another.
Church leadership
We believe in the five-fold ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We believe God has set overseers, elders, and deacons in the church to work together with ministry to care for the church. We believe God has set elders in the local church to watch over the souls of believers and offer discipline when necessary to maintain order.
The individual believer
We believe every Christian is chosen in God to be a priest unto God, a minister to other believers, and a servant of mankind.
Tithe
We believe the tithe of our earnings is holy unto God, and is to be offered by faith as the first fruits of our increase.
Gifts of the Spirit
We believe the nine supernatural gifts are operative in the church today and allow us to experience the fulness of God’s presence.
Laying on of hands
We believe in the laying on of hands for: confirmation/ordination, spiritual impartation, and prayers for healing.
Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent, personal, return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the gathering of the redeemed to Himself, and the restoration of all things as spoken by the mouths of the prophets.
Eternal punishment
We believe whosoever is not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will spend eternity in the place of punishment created for the devil, his angels, the beast, and the false prophet.
