Merge is the College and Young Adult Ministry of Grace Temple. If you are between the ages of 18-29 we want to help you plug into a community that will walk alongside you and draw you into deeper relationship with the Father.
Small Groups
Every Tuesday Night - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
The Moran Home
Join us for a relevant and topical Small Group Bible Study that draaw you into a community that will stand with you as you seek to grow in your relationship with God.
We start each meeting with FREE dinner and fellowship and then lead into a study from there. Our hope and vision is that the relationships built will, in turn, provide a community where our young adults will encourage and support one another through their daily walks with Jesus. We aim to facilitate conversation that will provoke each individual to pursue a deeper and more intentional relationship with Jesus while developing a deeper understanding of the Bible.
Table Talk - Merge Table
Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm for a Bible Study led by Pastor Dwayne and immediately followed by a round- table discussion targeted specifically towards your age group. Make sure to find the Merge Table at the front-left hand side of the auditorium.
Events
In addition to our regular Bible study we also have social events throughout the year. These events are an opportunity to enjoy one another in a more casual setting. Some of the events include "Lunch and Bowl" Sundays and Cookouts/Game Night. Check with a Merge Leader for any information on upcoming events that you can be a part of.
Conferences & Retreats
A couple of times a year we attend a few retreat/conference as a group in order to connect with other Young Adults and Students from around the country and challenge ourselves spiritually.
NEXT Conference
Next is simply a meeting place where generations can come together and humbly seek Jesus so that we might fall more in love with Him, grow to hear His voice more clearly, allow Him to take care of our hearts, ask Him why we were made, and receive from Him an outpoiring of His Spirit.
Why "Merge"?
Merge (mur-je) verb - to combine, blend, or unite gradually so as to blur the individuality or individual identity of.
We are called Merge because we feel there is a season (especially when we are 18-29) where, as individuals, we start to shape and cement our understanding of who Jesus is and how we are to pursue Him in our lives on a daily basis. During this season we can face many "firsts" that can challenge us and leave us wondering how to fit the Jesus we grew up "knowing" into the Jesus that is starting to be revealed in a new stage in our lives.
Whether you are in college for your first time, or it is your first time away from home, in your first job, or experiencing other starting points in your life we want to build a community around you that will help hold you up. We want to acknowledge that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and pursue him in the midst of the changes and challenges you are facing as students and young adults.
We understand that you are making life-long decisions that will determine your path in the coming years and we hope to help you seek Jesus and His will for your life as you take each step towards your future. In this way, the line between you and Jesus will begin to blur and you can find your full identity in Him.
