What we are studying:
When People Meet Jesus: We are going to take a look over 9 weeks at what happens to people when they really meet Jesus. We will study 9 encounters Jesus had: The Paralytic, The Blind Man, The Demon Possessed Man, Jairus, Adulterous Woman, Samaritan Woman, Zacchaeus and Nicodemus. When people met Jesus there was a life changing response.
Roots of the Faith: Roots are everything and that’s really what this series is all about. That there is power in the roots and specifically what we are talking about is roots of our faith and the power that the roots of our faith can have in our life today. If you think about it, roots provide nourishment, they provide health, they provide stability, whether it being a weed or a tree or a person’s life. You might write this down somewhere, that roots are essential for spiritual growth. And when it comes to roots, Jesus talked about roots that grew. Specifically we will cover the Nicene Creed, Catachisms and Confessions....should be and interesting lesson about the history of our faith in Christ.
HABITS: I want to take you on a journey and talk about some habits that, if you and I develop these habits in our life, they could and will change us. There are very few times when I stand up and guarantee anything, but this is one I really believe I could guarantee- not only based on God’s promises, but based on what I’ve lived experientially. What are these Habits? H ang Time with God A ccountability B ible Study I nvolvement in Church T ithing S cripture Study HABITS that can change your life.
